Tom was born in the Lehigh Valley and has lived here for most of his life. He is an active member of the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Berks Chamber of Commerce. He is a Rotarian and is a past president of his chapter. Tom is a member of Lehigh Valley Aging in Place.
